Sayo Tomikawa is an artist who queries the “basic common link” among humans, based on her multi-national background as a returnee student who spent her early years in a different culture. Tomikawa combines various materials such as glass, mirrors, and acrylics,
to observe the surroundings of humans and reflect them to exemplify the common links among humans as a collective.
